An Australian man is auctioning an image of his deceased wife’s brain to help raise awareness about the benefits of Cyberknife radiosurgery cancer treatment which is not available in Australia. According to news articles Ashely Mackinnon believes the life of his wife could have been saved if the treatment “Cyberknife Radiosurgery†was used shortly after they discovered the cancer in 2001. Mr. Mackinnon has made it his passion to get the Cyberknife treatment accepted in Australia and is using the power of eBay’s customer base as one way to get the word out.
