Baxter & Woodman, Inc.’s wholly-owned subsidiary, B&W Control Systems Integration (BWCSI) is seeking a Systems Integrator to be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning and testing of process instrumentation & control systems, including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. BWCSI is a fast-growing, but established firm that primarily provides control system automation, IT consulting, data development services and turnkey solutions for government agencies (such as municipalities & sanitary districts).
Responsibilities:
# Provide instrumentation & control design services for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and other municipal facilities.
# Provide design of SCADA systems.
# Provide regular onsite work for municipal clients including assisting with instrumentation, control system, and SCADA system programming, installation, and start-up.
# Perform “on-call†24/7 duties to troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues.
# Recommend/test new purchases and technologies that may benefit our clients.
Requirements:
# Reports to BWCSI Operations Manager for work responsibilities, scheduling, and quality control.
# 5+ years of experience in instrumentation and control system design, installation and servicing required.
# Programming experience, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), operator interface terminals, and SCADA software. Products used by BWCSI primarily include Allen-Bradley SLC/MicroLogix/CompactLogix/PanelView, Modicon PLCs, GE iFIX, Invensys Wonderware, and other hardware/software. Training will be provided, if necessary.
# General electrical troubleshooting for DC and AC circuits, as well as industrial instrumentation (meters, limit switches, sensors, etc.).
# Knowledge of industrial radio and telephone based telemetry systems a plus.
# Ability to read control system wiring schematics.
# AutoCAD and Visio experience a plus, or must be willing to be quickly trained.
