The high-tech Google nexus 7 tablet is powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 3 quad-core chipset and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The gizmo is expected to be in India by August, 2012. 
The Nexus is one of the much awaited gadgets in Indian Market and thanks to some slip-ups, now there is a hint of what was to come. As expected, Google has taken the wraps off its new Nexus 7 tablet. The device is manufactured by ASUS and will feature high performance hardware. It will run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and will feature a 7" HD display at 1280x800 pixels. It will be powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core chip, with a 12-core GPU for improved graphics performance. When completely charged, the Nexus 7 will offer up to 9 hours of continuous video playback and a standby time of up to 300 hours. Developers have included Chrome as the default browser for the tablet. The tab weighs just 340 grams, which makes it pretty portable.
