The first thing that I always do before anything is run MSCONFIG (System Configuration Utility) and check the startup entries there. When I tried to run msconfig, I got an error that says "Windows cannot find msconfig". Usually virus is the culprit for removing msconfig from Run command. Heres how I manage to bring back MSCONFIG to the Run command.
