The beautiful and sacred Taktsang Monastery located about 20 minutes drive north of Paro is a must see. The place where the Guru Rimpoche flew over the Himilaya from Tibet in the 7th century on the back of a flying Tigress is said to be the origin of Bhuddism in Bhutan. From the parking lot at the base of the hill it is about a 2 hour hike to the best view point. It is often closed to the public but just seeing it from the outside is well worth the effort.This locations are posted on BiigPiic.com website have a look.
