Twitter’s Eternal September and the Hunt for Spring

As often occurs with any cutting edge online community or application, original Twitter users aren't always happy to see their favorite new online tech go mainstream.  And what could be more mainstream these days than Twitter?  Every few days, a major newspaper will cover a story just about Twitter or the latest contreoversial bit of information that originates there, but some are starting to wonder and search out for the next big thing.  That eternal September of new users will lead some pioneers in search of the tech or community application that can generate a fresh new buzz.
