Dubrovnik (or the official italian, latin and formarly english name
since 1909 is “Ragusa”) is a historic city on the Adriatic coast in the
extreme south of Croatia.
1918 when the City was incorporated into the then called “Kingdom of
Yugoslavia” the name was officially changed from “Ragusa” to
“Dubrovnik”.
Dubrovnik is a city of a unique political and cultural history. It is a
home to many remarkably poets, painters, mathematicans, physicists and
other scholars…and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations
on the Adriatic-Sea coast.
