Stylish Java applet Wordle creates custom word clouds out of any text you throw at it. You can also have it parse your Del.icio.us tags for a cloud, but either way, the real fun is in customizing the layout, tag colors, fonts, and much more. Once you're done, you can share your clip in the site's gallery, print it out, or save it using your own screen-capture tool. It makes for nice backgrounds and icons, but it can also be helpful for students and anyone trying to parse a text for emphasis—the clip above is from the mammoth last paragraph of James Joyce's Ulysses, which can certainly hide its meanings pretty well. DIY web site Instructables details how to predict the weather by glancing at the sky and—more specifically—the clouds. Being able to predict the weather by observing cloud formations is a skill that is somewhat lost on us modern humans. SAP plans to offer a version of its HANA (High-Performance Analytic Appliance) software that will allow customers to upload
data to the vendor's own cloud setup for processing, rather than deploy related infrastructure in-house, a senior executive
of the company said.
HANA uses an in-memory computing engine, holding data to be processed in main memory for faster processing. This approach
is designed to eliminate the need to read data from the database, process it and then write data back to the database, SAP
said.

Amazon has launched the Cloud Player, which allows users to either purchase albums into the
cloud or upload their own music to the same. The streaming music
service allows users freedom from having to carry their music from
office to home, or rather make their music location free, and access
their favourite collection from PC or Android device with web access.
Both Cloud Players for Web and Android feature a 'Save to Amazon Cloud
Drive' button, which lets you transfer your personal music collection to
the Amazon Cloud Drive.
