We asked earlier this week what disposable items you had found clever re-uses for, and the answers are in. Not surprisingly, some of you have some pretty crafty uses for household goods that usually end up at the curb. From CD-R spindles to corks, twist-ties to tissue boxes, lots of supposedly one-use items can save you money, free up space, and be seriously handy when the need arises. One of the side effects of having so much stuff to help us get work done is dealing with the clutter it creates in our workspace. But just like you can defragment a hard drive—organize the bits and bytes so that related ones are closest to one another for faster access—you can also defrag your office to make it more efficient. Reader Jeremy shares his gorgeous and functional workspace in our Workspace Show and Tell Flickr photo group. He's rocking three monitors and two operating systems, and instead of buying a desk he opted to build one that seats himself and his wife. After the jump, get a short photo tour of Jeremy's setup.
