Windows only: Freeware application Direct Folders jumps quickly to any folder on your filesystem (and then some) for quick navigation through regular Explorer windows or save dialogs. After installing Direct Folders, double-click any free space on an Explorer window to bring up the Direct Folder menu. From there you can choose one of your favorite folders (or even apps), add new favorites, or access recent folders. With a lot more time-saving functionality worth using (like automatic folder resizing), Direct Folders seems almost magical. We've all seen "urgent" emails from exiled princes telling us to act quickly and hand over our bank account or other sensitive information. Since we're savvy folks, we promptly hit the Delete button and move on with our lives. That said, not all phishing scams are so obvious, and sometimes a phishing email can be very convincing. The Official Google Blog highlights a few simple tips that will greatly diminish your chances of getting hooked by a phishing scam. For example, the post recommends always going directly to the site yourself rather than clicking on links in suspicious emails, which will ensure you're dealing with your the source and not some nefarious site set up to look like your bank. An uncanny Google Analytics glitch drives users mad and at the time this article was written, no Google official came out to explain what happened. Here's the problem in a few words: webmasters who logged into their Google Analytics in the last few days spotted a shocking report: 0 (zero) direct visitors, which, for most of them, is impossible.
