It seems like Google's Street View function is one of the hottest technologies inside Googleplex since the Mountain View-based company continuously improves the feature. Following the integration of Street View in Google Earth, it looks like Google wants more than that as the famous Street View car was spotted in Italy. Since YouTube belongs to Google and this is the best search engine on the web, it's obvious that the video sharing service must have pretty advanced search functions, most of them coming from the parent company. Although no one inside Googleplex announced such an update, blogger Ionut Alex Chitu has discovered that the international versions of YouTube now provide search suggestions for the search function of the main page.

The Mountain View-based company Google is looking to get more money from YouTube, the online video sharing service they bought in October 2006 for $1.65 billion. Starting at 6PM Pacific Time tonight, Google will start rolling out Gmail Labs, an experimental area of new Gmail features that will be familiar and very welcome to users of the Better Gmail Firefox extension.
