If you're trying to be more frugal but find the day-to-day struggle too taxing to win, the Simple Dollar finance blog suggests a relaxing way to cut back on spending: A money-free weekend. There are just two rules:We are not allowed to spend any money on anything, no matter what. In other words, we can't make a run to the store to buy food, we can't spend money on any sort of entertainment, and so on.
