Among all the projects available at the Mozilla Foundation, one little application, Prism (formerly known as WebRunner), hasn't gotten much attention. Understandable, in a way, because Prism seems like just a stripped-down Firefox window in which to view web sites—which it is, but that can be a great thing. With the help of a few utilities, web applications in Prism can be just as convenient to launch and use as your standard-installation desktop programs. experimental-extensions.pngWhile scouring the far corners of the internet, we often run across tools that look great but come up just short of making the cut for a post. For example, I've been keeping my eyes on a few Firefox extensions lately that I love, but they're still in Experimental mode on Mozilla, meaning that you need to register with Mozilla and sign in to download them—because Mozilla testers haven't yet gotten around to approving them to go public just yet. We pass on these to make sure anything we post is readily available to our readers. Rather than continue to wait, which can take a while with Mozilla's approval process, check out three of my favorite experimental Firefox extensions. Ceedo is quite not next modification of starting menu of Windows, as possible to think, fluently giving a glance on screenshot. Ceedo, in fact, is bearable (portable) OS which is set on removable transmitters and allows to set practically any program on them, in passing transformed this program in portable. read more »
