Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. is likely to win approval for a new version
of its rheumatoid arthritis drug Orencia after gaining approval for its
kidney transplant drug Nulojix, a Citi Investment Research analyst said
Thursday.Analyst John Boris said the Food and Drug Administration delayed
approval of Nulojix in part because of manufacturing problems at a plant
in Puerto Rico. Now that those problems have been resolved and the drug
has been approved, Boris said it is more likely the FDA will approve
Bristol-Myers' new version of Orencia.
