old_telephone.jpgWhen you apply for a new job, prospective employers often inquire about your greatest weaknesses. If you've never prepared yourself for this question, answering it can be quite difficult. wikiHow suggests that you evaluate your performance and regularly identify your primary strengths and weaknesses. Once you've determined what your weak suits are, explain them clearly, but don't stop there. Follow it with good news about how you are able to overcome your weakness and strengthen yourself. Try to have at least three weaknesses on hand in case you're asked more than once, and always follow up with a strength. Be honest and avoid arrogance; we're human, after all.

passcheck_cropped.jpgMicrosoft offers a helpful little box to type your security phrases into that instantly grades them as "Weak," "Medium," and "Strong." Before the inevitable eye rolls and comments on the concepts of "Microsoft" and "security," see the Windows-maker's helpful suggestion on building a tough password:A strong password should appear to be a random string of characters to an attacker. It should be 14 characters or longer, (eight characters or longer at a minimum). It should include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.I was kind of surprised to see that one of my standard passwords was rated "Weak," while my previously-thought super-strong password was just "Medium." Worth checking out, and maybe taking to heart if you've got more than a few weaklings in your web login list.

Windows only: Free, open source application Blue Lock monitors the proximity of your Bluetooth phone or device and automatically locks your computer whenever it's out of range (e.g., you've walked away from your computer). The usefulness will depend on the strength of your Bluetooth devices, since it's not really going to do its job if you've got a strong signal and receiver that keeps a connection from across the office. But if it works well with your Bluetooth devices, Blue Lock provides a simple way to keep your computer secure when you step away for a few seconds but forget to hit Win-L to lock your workstation. Blue Lock is free, Windows only. For an even more robust alternative, Mac users should check out read more »

The Password Meter web utility tests the strength of your passwords as you type them, scoring your password strength based on a number of positive and negative password attributes. The test measures your password's number of characters, type of characters used, and the order of your characters. (Sequential letters or numbers, for example, equals weak passwords). Toss your favorite high-security password into this tool—you may be surprised at how you did.

cologne_scaled.jpgDrop for drop, colognes and perfumes are some of the most expensive liquids around, and yet they can wear off before you step out your door. The TipNut blog suggests that moisturizing the area where you'll apply the strong stuff—like with petroleum jelly or any non-scented moisturizer—helps lock in its strength longer than spraying onto dry skin. Combine that with another hint that pulse points are a scent distributor, and your eau de toilette just might earn its keep for the night. Hit the link for more advice, and feel free to offer up your own fragrance suggestions in the comments. Photo by Here in Van Nuys.

Every serving of Pro-NOS RTD contains ACTINOS. This unique whey protein fraction has been found to boost the activity of nitric oxide synthase (NOS), a family of enzymes required for the conversion of arginine to the potent vasodilator nitric oxide (NO)*. Activating NOS opens up the floodgates to NO production, enablin more arginine to be converted into NO.

Pro-NOS RTD also contains 35 g of 100% pure whey protein, just what you need to enhance your blood levels of amino acids quickly right after exercise. Combined with the vasodilating effects of NO, this creates a virtual amino acid nitrogen "bullet train" that helps your muscles bounce back from your workouts with greater mass, strength and resilience, faster. Sounds like more than just a drink that is ready for consumption, doesn't it? read more »
