In the past few years, David Allen's Getting Things Done methodology has boosted the productivity of many a convert. Microsoft is offering unlimited toll-free tech support calls for compatibility and installation issues with Windows Vista (Service Pack 1) through March 2009, in nearly any country. You'll need to have your Product ID handy (right-click on My Computer->Properties to grab it), but it's a nice last resort for you or anyone you don't have time to troubleshoot for. [via]

Yahoo Inc. and Alibaba Group released a joint statement saying they are
engaged in "productive negotiations" over online payment service Alipay.
