While it doesn't handle full-featured RSS-reading like other email applications, Gmail does offer "web clips"—a one-line headline ticker on top of your inbox that displays content like news headlines from sources you choose. The Official Gmail Blog runs down how to customize your web clips (or turn them off). I've had mixed feelings about web clips since they became available—one one hand, they're a distraction, but on the other, they can be an actually interesting and welcome distraction. Do you use 'em? Do you have Gmail's Web Clips feature enabled? ( surveys) If you do use web clips, be sure to search for and add the Lifehacker feed to your list of sources. (Remember that Lifehacker's Twitter feed, one of the web clips options, includes only our daily top stories.) Tip: Customize your web clips [Official Gmail Blog]
