Although it is true that golf is a sport not many golfers take into consideration their fitness level and how it may affect their game. The weekend golfer who sits in an office all week and then drives around the golf course in a golf cart can't expect to power his drives down the fairway. It is also true that there are a few top PGA professional golfers (past and present) that are decidedly overweight, but they are generally not the ones that remain at the top of the game for decades. So what golf training exercises can you do to get fit for golf?
