Before television beckoned, Dr. Oz had enough career as cardiac surgeon. Unlike Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz is a real, honest to goodness, Doctor. He actually was a cardiac surgeon before he turned to TV quackery, but again, unlike Dr. Phil, he hasn't yet been stripped of all credibility and his license.
