Paramount keeps
the success under their realm as they take over the
distribution rights for the upcoming film following the hit wonder
thriller “Paranormal Activity”. Writer-director Oren Peli, the person
behind the surprise success, is busy helming his latest film “Area 51”.
Paramount, the same studio holding “Paranormal Activity” has locked the
rights on Peli’s new film.

A Washington DC
reporter (Kate Beckinsale), writes an explosive story about a
government scandal in which she reveals the name of a covert CIA agent
(Vera Farmiga). When a special government prosecutor (Matt Dillon)
demands she divulge her source she refuses and is sent to jail.
Unexpectedly finding herself behind bars she struggles to maintain her
principles and relationship with her family.
