Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Update 5 support with ClearCase and ClearQuest 

IBM News announces support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0 Update 6 in IBM Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest version 7.1.1.2.

There is one important caveat to the announcement:

IBM Rational Change Management (CM) Server is not currently supported with Update 5 on 32-bit hosts.

On Wednesday 17th March at 4:00pm GMT Clearvision offer a free demonstration of their Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) product which addresses the key challenges of controlling Agile development and effectively managing releases while using Subversion or Git.

On 11th February 2010 the latest release candidate for Git v1.7.0 was made available for download and testing. This is hoped to be the final Git release candidate before the official production release of Git 1.7.0 expected in the next few days.

Clearvision have released a full bi-directional integration for IBM Rational ClearCase to Git named the CC2GIT Bridge. The ClearCase Git Integration allows developers to quickly and easily transport code between the two tools, enabling one continuous integrated SCCM environment with the reduced costs associated with open source software.

A new version of Git (v1.6.6.1) has been released, see the release notes below. You can download it from http://git-scm.com/. This is primarily a fix release.
