Wikipedia, most probably your favorite online encyclopedia, receives most of its traffic from Google. While this might not be completely unexpected, it is now a certainty with the recent release of study made by Nielsen Online. The online encyclopedia draws all but 10 percent of its traffic from search engines and other sites, but with the majority coming from Google.

In case you haven't visited Google Maps recently, youÂ’re probably not aware of its latest updates. This last Tuesday, users visiting Google maps have been faced with a new functionality. Between the Traffic and Map buttons, a new "More..." button has surfaced. The new button has been set to provide users with more information about the different locations on Earth. The "More..." button provides two choices: Photos and Wikipedia.

A recently released comScore data has placed Google as the leader of the online audience in the United States. It appears that the Mountain View giant has had an audience growth of approximately 18% in April this year. The 141.1 million US users visiting the Google pages have placed the American company on top of all its other competitors.

I read this really scary news and I just had to share with everyone else. This woman suffered from Identity theft in a very scary manner. One day Salina Rahim, while surfing on MySpace found a G-rated profile page where the author claimed to be her. The profile described the exploits of a lusty “cougar” obsessed with sex and on the prowl. Even the book section read, “I’m too busy trying to please men to read books.” It was piled on heavy enough, she said, to sound like it came from the imagination of a man — her rejected ex-boyfriend. To increase her torment, he took G-rated photos she had given him and added X-rated images of other women he found on porn sites.Turns out her ex-boyfriend decided to take revenge on her in such a malicious manner. read more »
